Styles gallery
The styles gallery is a shortcut to good results. Each style is a ready-made recipe, a prompt and a set of controls, that opens straight into the composer, already filled in.
Quick overview
- Browse the Featured rail and the Explore grid.
- Filter by prompt, photo, or video.
- Pick a style to open it in the composer, ready to generate or adjust.
Browsing styles
The gallery has two sections: a Featured rail highlighting standout styles, and an Explore grid holding the rest. Styles shared by the community appear inside Explore alongside built-in ones, there is no separate community tab, so browsing Explore already shows you both.
| Filter | What it is |
|---|---|
| All | Every style, regardless of type |
| Prompt | Sets up a text prompt |
| Photo | Works from a base photo you provide |
| Video | Sets up a clip |
Pick a style and it opens in the composer with its prompt and controls already set, ready to generate as is or adjust to fit your subject.
| Featured | Explore | |
|---|---|---|
| Layout | A horizontal rail | A full grid |
| Content | A curated handful of standout styles | Everything else, built-in and community |
| Best for | Quick inspiration | Browsing by type when you know what you want |
Opening a style
What happens when you open a style depends on its type. A prompt style drops straight into the composer with its text and controls filled in, ready to generate immediately. A photo style needs a base photo from you before it can run, so you're prompted to provide one. A video style behaves like a prompt style but opens in video mode with duration, aspect ratio, and any start or end frame slots already configured.
Sharing your own
Sharing a style publishes it into Explore for others to use. Two things need to be true before you can share anything: you have accepted the community's contribution agreement at least once, and your account-wide sharing switch is on. Both live in Community. With those in place, share a style from inside the composer, and it goes through the workspace's review flow, either publishing right away or waiting for moderator approval, depending on how the workspace is configured, with a title and category suggested for you automatically.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Submitted | Waiting for review, if the workspace requires it |
| Published | Live in Explore for everyone |
| Rejected | Did not pass review |
| Taken down | Removed after being live, by a moderator |
Every style, built-in or shared, shows how many times it has been used, so popular recipes are easy to spot inside Explore.
Step by step
Use a photo style on your own image
- Open the styles gallery and go to the Explore grid.
- Set the filter to Photo so you only see styles that work from a base photo.
- Open a style you like. Because it is a photo style, you're prompted to provide a base photo before it can run.
- Upload or pick your photo. The style's prompt and controls are already filled in for you.
- Adjust the prompt or any control if you want it to fit your subject more closely, then generate.
Share a style you liked
- First set both prerequisites on the Community page: accept the contribution agreement once, and turn your account-wide sharing switch on. See Community.
- In the composer, run a generation you're happy with using the style.
- Share the style from the composer. A title and category are suggested automatically.
- Review the suggested title and category, adjust them if needed, then submit.
- It enters the workspace review flow: publishing right away or waiting for moderator approval, depending on how the workspace is configured. Watch its status move through Submitted, then Published or Rejected.
Open a prompt or video style
- Open the gallery and set the filter to Prompt or Video for the kind of style you want.
- Open a style. A prompt style drops straight into the composer with its text and controls filled in, ready to generate immediately.
- A video style opens the same way but in video mode, with duration, aspect ratio, and any start or end frame slots already configured.
- Edit the prompt or controls to fit your subject, then generate.
Common tasks
| Goal | Do this |
|---|---|
| See both built-in and community styles | Browse Explore, they're mixed together with no separate tab |
| Spot popular recipes | Look at each style's use count |
| Only browse clips | Set the filter to Video |
| Reuse a style but change the subject | Open it, then edit the prompt and controls before generating |
Styles are not templates
The styles gallery is easy to confuse with the templates gallery in the workspace, they're separate things. A style is a generation recipe: a prompt and controls that feed into AI Studio. A template is a finished design, a whole page or part, that you drop into the editor and edit directly. Sharing one does not share the other, and they live in different places for browsing.
Troubleshooting
- A photo style will not generate. Photo styles run from a base photo. Provide one (upload or pick an existing image) before generating; without it, the style will not run.
- The share action will not go through. Sharing needs both the contribution agreement and the account-wide sharing switch. If either is missing, the share will not go through, so check both on the Community page.
- I cannot find a community tab. There isn't one. Community styles live inside Explore next to the built-in ones, so browsing Explore already shows both.
Start from a style, then make it yours
A style is a starting point, not a final answer. Open one, then edit the prompt and controls to fit your subject before you generate.
Sharing needs two things
The contribution agreement and the account-wide sharing switch are both required. See Community for exactly where each one stands on your account.
