Brand profile
A brand profile is the home for one brand kit. A header shows its cover, logo, and identity, over a set of tabs that hold the brand's work, media, tags, stats, and settings. The URL keeps the active tab in its query string, so a link to a specific tab is shareable and survives a refresh.
Quick overview
- Open a brand from the brand overview.
- The profile always lands on the Work tab first, never Settings.
- Use the tabs to browse its work, media, and tags, or review its stats.
- Refine the profile, or open the advanced panel, from the Settings tab.
The header
The cover photo fills the top of the header; if the brand has none, a gradient built from its own primary and accent colors fills the space instead, so the header never looks blank. The logo overlaps the bottom edge of the cover. Next to the name: a status pill, the category, ownership, up to 6 palette swatches, and a clickable website link with the protocol stripped for readability. Below that, the brand's story (or its description, if no story was written) shows as a short bio. An İşlemler menu at the right archives or deletes the kit.
Tabs
| Tab | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Work | The projects attached to this brand, using the same browser as the general works hub, scoped to this brand. Starting a new design here creates it and assigns the brand automatically. |
| Media | The media attached to this brand, using the general media library, scoped the same way. |
| Tags | A tag-driven search across this brand's work and media together. |
| Stats | Activity over time, including a year-long heatmap. |
| Settings | Edit the profile fields, review a change log, and open the advanced panel. |
Work and Media tabs
Folders only appear here if they are directly linked to this brand, or recursively contain at least one item tagged to it, so an empty but linked folder still shows up while an unrelated folder does not. Creating a new folder while inside this tab links it to the brand automatically, and starting a new design here (with a confirmation prompt first) creates it, tags it to the brand, and opens it in the editor in one step.
Tags tab
A toolbar combines a text search, an All / Work / Media type filter, and an "any tag" vs. "all tags" matching mode, above a row of tag chips built only from tags actually used somewhere in this brand (unused workspace tags are not shown). Results split into a Work section and a Media section, each independently switchable between grid and table layout, and each with its own empty state depending on whether a filter is active. Clicking a media result opens the media preview modal.
Stats tab
| Card | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Work, Media, Events | Scoped to the selected time range |
| Fonts, Colors | Always the kit's current totals, not range-scoped |
| Busiest day | The single highest-activity day within the last year |
A range dropdown (Total, last 3 / 7 / 30 / 60 / 90 days, or last year) rescopes the Work/Media/Events cards only; the heatmap below is always a fixed trailing 365 days regardless of the dropdown. The heatmap uses a 5-level color scale:
| Events that day | Level |
|---|---|
| 0 | Empty |
| 1-2 | Lightest |
| 3-5 | Light-medium |
| 6-9 | Medium-dark |
| 10+ | Darkest |
Weekday labels only show for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to save space; month labels appear above the first full week of each month. A footer line below the grid repeats the busiest single day and the total over the last 30 days. With zero activity, the grid still renders (all cells empty) with a note that activity will accumulate as you add work and media to the kit.
Settings tab
A vertical sidebar splits Settings into three sections.
| Section | Contents |
|---|---|
| Marka Profili | The same field editors as the creation wizard, in four horizontal sub-tabs: General, Color, Typography, Voice & Narrative |
| Log Geçmişi | A paginated audit table (12 rows per page) of every change to this kit |
| Gelişmiş | 10 advanced tools, described below |
Editing under Marka Profili is not auto-saved: change fields across the four sub-tabs, then click Değişiklikleri kaydet once to persist them all. The audit log records 14 distinct event types: created, updated, design added, asset added, font uploaded, setting changed, archived, restored, delete requested, deleted, merged, kit applied, folder linked, and folder unlinked, each with who did it (or "System" when there is no actor) and an exact timestamp.
Advanced panel
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Dışa Aktar (Export) | Downloads the kit, colors, typography, voice, and logo variants, as a JSON file |
| Klonla (Clone) | Duplicates every setting into a brand-new kit; work and media are not copied along with it |
| Birleştir (Merge) | Moves this kit's work, media, and folders into another kit you pick, then archives this one |
| Marka Kontrolleri | Toggles to flag colors, fonts, or logos as locked, or require approval before changes go live |
| Erişim & Paylaşım | Private, Team, or Organization visibility for the kit |
| Temalar & Modlar | Save the current palette as a named alternate theme; delete a saved theme any time |
| Yapay Zeka Zekası | Two on/off preferences (auto palette suggestions, auto voice drafting) plus a built-in WCAG contrast checker |
| Entegrasyonlar | Website and social links, duplicated here from the Identity step for quick edits |
| Denetim & Uyumluluk | A licensing/rights note, plus the same JSON export for data portability |
| Arşivle & Sil | Archive (reversible) or delete (moves to the trash) |
Brand controls are not enforced yet
The "lock colors / fonts / logos" and "require approval" toggles in Marka Kontrolleri save your preference, but nothing in the rest of the app currently checks or enforces them; a design can still use an off-brand color today. Treat them as a stated intent for now, not a hard guardrail.
Check contrast before you rely on a theme
The AI panel's contrast checker reads whichever swatches you have marked with the background and text roles and computes their WCAG ratio live: 4.5:1 or higher passes AA for normal text, 3:1 or higher passes for large text only, and anything below that is flagged as insufficient. Assign both roles in your palette so this check has something to compare.
Deleting a kit
Deleting from the header menu or from the Advanced panel's danger zone both move the kit to the trash; from the Advanced panel you additionally have to type the kit's exact name to confirm. Neither path deletes anything permanently. Permanent deletion, with a 30-minute email-confirmed link, only happens from the trash view on the brand overview page.
How to use it
Update a palette after a client rebrand
- Open the client's brand from the overview, then open Ayarlar and pick Marka Profili.
- Switch to the Renk sub-tab. Edit each swatch's hex, name, and role, add new ones with Renk ekle, and delete retired colors.
- Click Değişiklikleri kaydet. Because a brand assignment is a tag and not a copy, the new palette shows immediately everywhere the kit's colors appear: the profile header, the overview swatches and grid cards, the folder badges, and the brand glyphs on already-assigned work and media.
- Note that changing the palette updates the kit's identity, not the pixels of past designs. The canvas of a design you already made is not recolored (see the applying a brand note on that).
Save an alternate palette theme
- In Ayarlar then Gelişmiş, open Temalar & Modlar.
- Click Mevcut paleti tema yap to snapshot the current palette as a named mode (for example a dark-surface variant).
- Click Kaydet. Saved themes list here with their color count and a delete button. Themes store a palette set; they do not change which colors the kit leads with.
Merge two duplicate kits
- Open the kit you want to fold away, then Ayarlar then Gelişmiş then Birleştir.
- Pick the destination kit from the Hedef marka dropdown and click Birleştir.
- Its work, media, and folders move to the target and this kit is archived. You are redirected to the target's profile. If the dropdown says "Birleştirilecek başka marka yok," you only have one kit. Merging is a one-way move, so pick the destination deliberately.
Export a kit for backup or handoff
- Open Ayarlar then Gelişmiş then Dışa Aktar (or Denetim & Uyumluluk).
- Click Marka kitini indir (JSON). You get a JSON file with the identity, colors, typography, voice, and logo variants for archival or handoff.
Common tasks
| Goal | Do this |
|---|---|
| Read the change history | Ayarlar then Log Geçmişi |
| Check WCAG contrast | Assign bg and text roles in the palette, then Gelişmiş then Yapay Zeka Zekası |
| Change who can see the kit | Gelişmiş then Erişim & Paylaşım |
| Duplicate the kit's settings | Gelişmiş then Klonla (work and media stay behind) |
| Replace the logo or cover | Marka Profili then Genel, using the two gallery pickers |
| Search inside one brand | The Etiketler tab: text search, type filter, and any/all tag matching, scoped to this kit |
| Record a licensing note | Gelişmiş then Denetim & Uyumluluk |
| Share a link to a specific tab | Copy the URL while on that tab (the ?tab= value is kept) |
Troubleshooting
- The Stats tab is all zeros and the heatmap is empty. No work or media is assigned to this kit yet. The grid still renders with a note that activity accumulates as you add work and media.
- The Fonts / Colors cards do not change when I switch the range. Those two are current totals, by design; only the Work, Media, and Events cards follow the range dropdown. The heatmap is always the trailing 365 days.
- The Marka Kontrolleri toggles did not stop an off-brand color. They are not enforced yet. They record intent only; nothing in the app blocks off-brand use today.
- Birleştir says there is no other brand. Merge needs at least one other kit to move into; create or keep a second kit first.
- The delete button asks me to type the brand name. That is the Advanced panel's two-step confirmation. Even after confirming, it is still a soft delete to the trash, not permanent removal.
- The profile keeps opening on Çalışmalar, not the tab I want. Work is the default tab. Deep-link to another by including its
?tab=value in the URL (for example the media, tags, stats, or settings tab). - Log Geçmişi shows "Sistem" as the actor. Automatic events (like a design being added) have no user attached and show as System; manual edits show your name, with your email on hover.
- My edits under Marka Profili did not stick. The four sub-tabs share one Değişiklikleri kaydet button. Make all your changes, then click it once; navigating away without saving discards them.
- The header has a colored gradient instead of a cover image. The kit has no cover set, so the header falls back to a gradient built from the kit's own primary and accent colors. Set a cover in the profile's General editor to replace it.
