Media library
The media library holds the images, video, and audio you use across projects. It works much like the works hub, applied to media: folders, filters, bulk actions, and a trash. Everything you upload here can be dropped into any project.
Quick overview
- Open the media library from the sidebar. Image, video, and audio are separate tabs, each with its own folder tree.
- Upload by dragging files in, pasting from the clipboard, or the upload dialog.
- Filter by type, drill into folders, or jump into a smart view (favorites, recent, duplicates).
- Select one or many items to act on them, or open one to preview and edit it.
Adding media
- Drag and drop files onto the library. A dashed highlight ("Bırak, yükleyelim") shows where the drop will land.
- Paste (
Ctrl/Cmd + V) an image or file copied elsewhere; it uploads straight into the current tab and folder. - Upload dialog (the Yükle button) for picking files from your computer, with per-kind toggles.
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Max file size | 50 MB per file |
| Image formats | PNG, JPEG, GIF, WEBP, SVG |
| Video formats | MP4, WEBM |
| Audio formats | MP3, WAV, OGG |
| Concurrent uploads | Files upload three at a time; the rest queue behind them |
The upload dialog shows a chip for each kind, with the current tab's kind enabled by default. Drop or pick a mix of kinds and a notice appears (for example, "içinde 2 video de var, yüklensin mi?") with a Hepsini ekle button to enable the rest in one click. Dragging files straight onto the grid works the same way: a single matching kind uploads immediately, a mixed drop opens the dialog to confirm first.
Once uploading starts, a progress dock in the corner shows overall percent, megabytes transferred, and an estimated time remaining, plus a status line for the five most recent files. A batch that finishes with mixed outcomes (some to the cloud, some routed to a local folder, some rejected) gets one summary message instead of one per file.
Reuse, do not re-upload
Anything in the library can be dropped into any project, and the editor's own media picker reads the same library. Upload once, use everywhere.
Browsing and filtering
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Type tabs | Split media into image, video, and audio, each with a live count |
| Folders | Nested folders with recursive item counts and sizes, plus a breadcrumb |
| Smart views | Favorites, recent uploads, and duplicates (see below) |
| Search | Filter the current folder or view as you type, by name |
| Filter popover | Sort order, thumbnail size, large-file filter, tag, and brand |
| Grid or list | Switch the layout |
Sorting and thumbnail size
| Sort | Order |
|---|---|
| Recently added | Newest upload first, the default |
| Name (A to Z) | Alphabetical by file name |
| Size (largest) | Biggest file first |
In grid view, the filter popover also sets thumbnail density (small, medium, or large), a "larger than 5 MB" toggle, a tag filter (shown only when you have tags), and a brand filter (shown only when you have brand kits). The filter button carries a count badge whenever anything besides the default sort is active, and a "clear filters" action resets everything at once.
Smart views
Shown at the root of each tab, before you open a folder or search:
| View | What's in it |
|---|---|
| Favorites | Everything you've starred, of the current kind |
| Recent uploads | Uploaded in the last 7 days |
| Duplicates | Files that share an exact byte size with another file of the same kind; only shown when at least one such pair exists |
A smart view replaces the folder view entirely: while one is open, the ordinary folder tree is hidden and the breadcrumb shows the view's name instead of a folder path.
Jump to a specific day
The activity calendar can deep-link into the library filtered to a single day's uploads of the current kind, across every folder. When that filter is active a banner reads "[date] tarihinde yüklenen medya" with a Temizle (Clear) action, so it's obvious you're looking at a filtered slice rather than a folder. Clearing the banner returns you to normal folder browsing.
Grid and list
The layout toggle switches between a thumbnail grid and a compact list. In list view each row shows a select checkbox, a small thumbnail, and columns for Ad (name), Tür (type), Boyut (size), Tarih (date), and a favorite star; a header checkbox selects every row at once. Grid view is better for scanning visually; list view is better for sorting by size or scanning file names and dates.
Folders
Folders are per media type: an image folder never shows in the video tab. Click Klasör ekle (Add folder), or Alt klasör ekle (Add subfolder) while inside one, to create one, name it, and pick an icon from a searchable icon grid.
| Action | How |
|---|---|
| Nest a folder | Drag its tile onto another folder |
| Move a folder to the root or a parent | Drag it onto a breadcrumb crumb |
| Rename or change icon | Right-click a folder, choose Edit |
| See size and counts | Right-click, choose Info: subfolder count, item count (recursive), and total size |
| Download everything in it | Right-click, choose Download: bundles it and all subfolders into one ZIP |
| Assign to brand | Right-click, choose Assign to brand (only when you have brand kits) |
| Delete | Right-click, confirm; subfolders are removed but the media inside is kept, moved up to the parent instead of deleted |
You can't drag a folder into one of its own subfolders; the drop is blocked with an error ("Klasör kendi alt klasörüne taşınamaz").
Folders and moves stay within one kind
Because each tab has its own folder tree, you can only move an asset into a folder of the same kind. When you move a file (by drag, by the bulk bar, or from a card menu), the only destinations offered are folders in that file's own tab. There is no way to file a video into an image folder.
Selecting and acting on many at once
| Method | Result |
|---|---|
| Click a card | Opens the preview lightbox |
Shift + click | Selects a range from the last item you clicked |
| Click a card's checkbox, or click-drag over empty grid space | Starts or extends a selection without opening anything |
Ctrl/Cmd + A | Selects everything in the current view |
| Drag a selected card onto a folder | Moves the whole selection into that folder |
A click-drag needs to move more than about 5 pixels before it counts as a rubber-band selection rather than a click, so a steady click still opens the item. Dragging a card that's already selected starts a move instead of a new selection. There is also a Tümünü seç (Select all) toggle above the grid.
A selection opens a floating bulk action bar:
| Bulk action | Result |
|---|---|
| Move | Move the selection into a folder of the same kind, or out of the current folder |
| Favorite | Adds every selected item to favorites; it does not remove favorites already set |
| Rename by pattern | Renames the batch using a pattern with {n} for the sequence number (default medya-{n}); the original extension is kept unless your pattern already includes a dot |
| Download | A single item downloads directly; several are bundled into a ZIP |
| Delete | Sends the selection to the trash, after a confirmation |
Per-item context menu
Right-click a single card for a focused menu: Preview, Select, Favorite (or Unfavorite), Rename, Move to folder, Assign to a brand (only when you have brand kits), Download, and Delete.
Right-click a folder tile for: Info, Download as ZIP, Edit, Assign to brand, and Delete.
Thumbnails and hover preview
Image thumbnails are generated on the fly and cached, requesting a smaller size in grid view (240 to 440 px, depending on thumbnail density) than the full original the lightbox uses. Video cards have no stored cover, so a frame is captured client-side by seeking to about 25% into the clip and drawing it to a canvas; this only happens once a card scrolls near the viewport, with at most 3 captures running at once so a video-heavy folder doesn't stutter. Audio cards show a music icon with an inline play button that queues sibling audio files into the mini player.
Hover over an image or video card for about half a second and a larger preview (340 px wide) pops up beside it, flipping to the other side near a screen edge; video previews autoplay muted and looped. Audio cards have no visual to preview, so hovering does nothing extra. Anything uploaded in the last 24 hours carries a small "Yeni" (New) badge on its card.
Storage and limits
Uploads count toward your storage quota. See Storage and quotas.
| Situation | What happens |
|---|---|
| Storage full | Uploads pause with a dialog ("Bulut depolama alanın doldu") offering to free space, connect a local folder, or upgrade your plan |
| A local folder is connected | New uploads that don't fit the cloud quota route there automatically instead of failing |
| Local disk full | That file fails with its own message; others in the batch continue |
| Provider key missing or rate limited | Stock search shows a clear error instead of an empty result |
| Local folder not connected on this device | Assets stored on your own machine show as unavailable here (a folder icon with a "not connected on this device" hint) until you reconnect it |
| Uploading too fast | The upload is rate-limited; you'll see a message telling you when you can try again |
You can connect your own machine as storage. See Storage and integrations.
States
| State | What you see |
|---|---|
| Loading | A skeleton grid |
| Empty folder | An upload prompt, worded for the current kind ("Bu klasörde resim yok") |
| Large library | Items render in batches of 80 and grow automatically as you scroll near the bottom |
Where the library shows up
The same library appears in a few places, always backed by one shared set of assets:
- The Medya kütüphanesi route in the workspace sidebar, the full experience described here.
- Inside a brand profile, scoped to that brand: uploads made there are tagged to the brand automatically, and folders you create there link to it.
- As a picker in flows that ask you to choose media (for example when composing with AI): the grid is the same, but instead of opening a preview a click selects, and a confirm bar collects your picks.
Because it's one library, an asset you upload in any of these surfaces is immediately available in all of them, and in the editor.
How to use it
Find images you uploaded recently and reuse one
- Open the media library from the sidebar and stay on the Resim (Image) tab.
- To surface fresh uploads, click the Son yüklenenler (Recent uploads) smart view at the root (last 7 days), or open the filter popover and set sort to Son eklenen (Recently added) so the newest sit first. For a specific day, jump in from the activity calendar: its "gör" (view) link deep-links the library to that day's uploads with a clearable banner.
- Narrow further by typing part of the file name in the search box, or add a tag filter if you tagged the batch.
- Anything you find here is reusable in any project: the editor's media picker reads this same library, so open a project and drop the image in from there.
Upload a batch of mixed files and let each kind land in the right place
- Drag a folder of mixed images, video, and audio straight onto the grid.
- Because the drop contains kinds other than the current tab, the upload dialog opens instead of uploading blindly. Each kind chip shows how many files it matched.
- Click Hepsini ekle (Add all) to enable the extra kinds, then Yükle (Upload).
- Watch the corner progress dock for percent, transferred size, and time remaining. Each file is filed into its own kind's category automatically, so videos never end up in the image tab.
Clear out duplicate files
- At the root of a tab, look for the Yinelenenler (Duplicates) smart view. It only appears when at least one pair of same-kind files shares an exact byte size.
- Open it, select the copies you don't need (checkbox,
Shift-click for a range, orCtrl/Cmd + A), and use Delete in the bulk bar. They go to the trash, so a mistake is recoverable.
Rename a batch and hand it off as a ZIP
- Select the files you want to ship. Open the bulk bar's Rename by pattern and enter something like
teklif-{n};{n}becomes 1, 2, 3, and each file keeps its original extension. - With the same selection, click Download. One file downloads directly; several are bundled into a single ZIP. To ship a whole folder instead, right-click the folder tile and choose Download as ZIP, which includes every subfolder.
Common tasks
| Goal | Do this |
|---|---|
| Upload from your computer | Click Yükle, pick files, confirm the kinds |
| Paste a screenshot straight in | Copy it, then Ctrl/Cmd + V on the library |
| Move files into a folder | Select them, drag one selected card onto the folder tile |
| See a folder's total size | Right-click the folder, choose Info |
| Filter to only big files | Filter popover, toggle 5MB üzeri (over 5 MB) |
| Recover a deleted file | Open the trash (toolbar trash icon), Restore |
| Spot brand-new uploads | Look for the Yeni badge (added in the last 24 hours) |
| Assign a file to a brand | Right-click the card, Assign to brand, pick one |
| Play a folder of audio | Click one clip's play button; the rest queue in the mini player |
| Browse free stock instead | Switch to the Stok ara tab (see Media preview and stock) |
Troubleshooting
- "Desteklenmeyen dosya türü" (unsupported file type). Only PNG, JPEG, GIF, WEBP, and SVG images; MP4 and WEBM video; and MP3, WAV, and OGG audio are accepted. Convert anything else first.
- "Dosya 50MB sınırını aşıyor" (file exceeds 50MB). Each file is capped at 50 MB. Compress or trim it, then re-upload. (Auto-compression, if on, applies to images before this check.)
- A dialog says "Bulut depolama alanın doldu" (cloud storage full). Your cloud quota is used up. Free space, connect a local folder so new uploads spill there, or upgrade your plan from the dialog. Existing files are untouched; only new uploads pause. See Storage and quotas.
- Upload stops with a rate-limit message. You uploaded too many files too fast (an hourly, daily, concurrent, or burst limit). The message tells you when you can retry; the rest of the batch is stopped until then.
- Some cards show a folder icon and a "not connected on this device" hint. Those assets live in a local folder that isn't connected on the machine you're using. Reconnect it in Storage and integrations to see them again.
- The Duplicates view isn't there. It only appears when a same-kind, same-byte-size pair exists. No exact duplicates means no view.
- A tag or brand filter shows nothing. Filters combine (AND), so a tag plus a brand plus "over 5 MB" can narrow to zero. Use the filter popover's clear-filters action to reset, then reapply one at a time.
- Paste isn't uploading. Clipboard paste only uploads while you're on the library tab (not the stock or trash view), and only for actual file or image data. Click back into the library and try again.
- A video card is blank for a moment. Video covers are captured in the browser as the card nears the viewport, at most three at once, so a heavy folder fills in progressively rather than all at once.
- My bulk rename dropped the file extensions. The pattern keeps each file's original extension unless your pattern already contains a dot. If you wrote something like
logo-{n}.png, that dot tells it you're supplying the extension yourself. Leave the dot out to keep the originals. - Bulk Favorite didn't clear the ones already starred. Favorite in the bulk bar only adds to favorites, it never un-stars. To remove a favorite, toggle its star individually.
- A "move to folder" menu has no destinations. There are no other folders of that kind yet. Create one first, then move.
