Dashboard
The dashboard is where you land after signing in. It is built to get you into a design fast and back to recent work with one click.
Quick overview
- Pick a format tile to start a design, or a quick tool for a common task.
- Reopen recent work, recent media, or a template.
- Import a design you made before signing in, if the workspace finds one.
- Work through the onboarding checklist to finish setup.
- Search or use the command palette to jump anywhere.
Start a design
| Format tile | Canvas size | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Business card | 1050 × 600 | Creates a new project at this size and opens it in the editor |
| Social post | 1080 × 1080 | Creates a new project at this size and opens it in the editor |
| Presentation | 1920 × 1080 | Creates a new project at this size and opens it in the editor |
| Video | 1920 × 1080 | Creates a new project at this size and opens it in the editor |
| Custom size | Freeform | Creates a new project at the workspace's default canvas size, ready to resize from inside the editor |
Six quick tools sit below the format tiles: AI design, background removal, resize, QR code, barcode, and color palette. Each one opens the editor rather than jumping straight into that tool's panel, so look for it in the left sidebar once you're in.
If you are at your design limit
On a capped plan, a format tile that would put you over your design quota shows an error message with a link to your plan instead of opening the editor. See Storage and quotas.
Returning to work
If this browser still holds a design you made before signing in (or before the workspace had accounts at all), a banner offers to bring it into your account. It shows how many pages it found: Import turns it into a real project and opens it, and Dismiss hides the banner for good without touching the local copy, so nothing is lost either way. The banner only appears once per browser, and only while an unimported local design is actually present.
Pick up where you left off
Recent work
Shows up to nine of your latest projects, newest update first, plus a tenth tile linking to the full works hub with a running count of everything you own. A type strip along the top (all, plus one tab per part type you actually have) filters this section, and the top-bar search box narrows it further. That search field is the shared one in the header, there is no separate box inside this section, so whatever you type up top filters the recent work here as well.
Recent media
Shows your latest uploads with quick category filters (all, images, videos, audio). Click an image or video to preview it; click an audio file and it starts playing immediately in the mini player instead of opening a preview. An upload tile lets you add a file without leaving the dashboard. This section, along with templates and the learn strip below it, loads only once you scroll near it, so the dashboard itself opens fast.
Start with a template
A row of real, published templates pulled from the community gallery, sorted by popularity and capped at ten. Category chips are generated from your busiest categories, capped at eight, plus an "All" chip. Templates the workspace ships with are labeled "System"; anything else shows its community author's name or handle. Clicking a template opens its detail page rather than creating a project immediately.
Onboarding checklist
A short checklist tracks five real steps against your account, not a script:
| Step | Counts as done when | The action link takes you to |
|---|---|---|
| Create your first design | You have at least one project | The editor |
| Add a brand | You have at least one brand kit | The brand section |
| Upload media | You have at least one asset in your library | The media library |
| Add a profile photo | Your account has an avatar image | Settings |
| Turn on two-factor authentication | 2FA is enabled on your account | Settings |
It shows a progress bar and a count like "3/5 done," and hides itself automatically once every step is complete. The dismiss button hides it for good in this browser, even if a step later becomes incomplete again; on a different browser or device it reappears until dismissed there too.
Step by step
Resume a project you left half-finished yesterday
- Land on the dashboard after signing in.
- Look at Recent work, which lists your projects newest-update-first, so yesterday's edit is usually in the first row.
- If a type strip is in the way, click All to clear it, or type part of the name in the top-bar search box to narrow the row.
- Click the card to open the project in the editor exactly where you left it. If it has scrolled past the nine shown, use the tenth Tümü tile to open the works hub, or press
Ctrl/Cmd+Kand pick it from the command palette.
Start a fixed-size design in two clicks
- In the Formats row, pick the tile that matches your output (business card, social post, presentation, or video).
- The workspace creates a real project at that exact canvas size and drops you straight into the editor. There is no size prompt, the tile carries the dimensions.
- For anything else, use Custom size, which opens the editor at the default canvas so you can set your own dimensions inside.
Bring a pre-account design into your account
- Sign in on the same browser where you used the editor before you had an account.
- On the dashboard, watch for the "you have a design saved on this device" banner near the top. It shows the page count of what it found.
- Click Import to turn it into a real project and open it, or Dismiss to hide the banner. Either way the local copy is kept, so importing later is not possible only if you dismissed it (the banner is one-time per browser), but nothing is deleted.
Finish account setup
- Find the onboarding checklist near the top of the dashboard with its progress bar.
- Each unfinished step has an action link on its right (Create, Add, Upload, Add, Enable). Click one to jump to the screen that completes it.
- Come back to the dashboard: the step flips to done on its own because it checks real data, not a manual tick. At 5/5 the whole card disappears.
States
| State | What you see |
|---|---|
| Loading | Skeleton placeholders in Recent work and Recent media while your data first loads |
| No projects yet | An empty-state prompt to start with one of the format tiles above |
| Type filter excludes everything | A distinct "no matching work" message in Recent work |
| No media in a category | A message noting there is nothing there yet |
| Below the fold, not scrolled to | Media, templates, and the learn strip stay unmounted until you scroll near them |
Keyboard shortcuts
| Shortcut | Action |

Ctrl / Cmd + K | Open the command palette |
Common tasks
- Open the newest project fast: it is the first card in Recent work (sorted by last update).
- See everything, not just nine: click the tenth Tümü tile, or the "Tümünü gör" link, to reach the works hub.
- Preview an upload without leaving home: click an image or video tile in Recent media.
- Play a track quickly: click an audio tile; it plays in the mini player instead of opening a preview.
- Add a file from the dashboard: use the upload tile in Recent media.
- Resume by keyboard only: press
Ctrl/Cmd+K, type the project name, and pressEnter. - Filter Recent media by kind: click the images, videos, or audio chip above the media tiles.
- Filter recent work to one part type: click a tab in the type strip above the cards.
- Focus recent work on one folder: pick that folder in the command palette; the section retitles to it.
- Browse a template before committing: scroll to Start with a template and click a card to open its detail page.
- Jump anywhere by name: press
Ctrl/Cmd+Kand start typing.
Troubleshooting
A format tile shows a quota error instead of opening the editor
Your plan caps how many designs you can own and you are at the cap. The same block applies from the dashboard, the command palette, and everywhere else. Delete a project you no longer need from the works hub or upgrade in Billing. See Storage and quotas.
- A project I edited yesterday is not in Recent work. Recent work shows only nine cards. If a type strip tab or the top-bar search is active it filters them further, click All and clear the search, or open the works hub.
- The import banner is gone and I never imported. The banner is one-time per browser: importing or dismissing sets a flag so it will not return here. The local design itself is never deleted, and on a fresh browser the prompt appears again.
- The checklist still shows a step I completed. It reads live account data, so give it a moment or reload; the step flips to done once the data (a design, a brand, an asset, an avatar, 2FA) actually exists. Dismissal is stored per browser, so it can reappear on another device.
- Media, templates, or the learn cards look blank at first. Those sections mount only when you scroll near them, which keeps the first paint fast. Scroll down and they fill in.
- Clicking an audio tile did not open a preview. That is intentional: audio quick-plays in the mini player; only images and videos open the preview dialog.
- Recent work is titled with a folder name or "Favoriler," not "Recent." A command palette pick set that filter for this section. Open the palette again and choose All works to clear it back to the default recent list.
Tips
Learn the palette shortcut
Press Ctrl or Cmd and K anywhere to open the command palette and jump to any design, folder, or action.
Recent work is a preview, not the whole library
Once you have more than nine projects, use the works hub instead of the dashboard for filtering, sorting, and bulk actions.
